The platform MAP incorporates societies and scientifique bodies dedicated to the areas of mathematics, astronomy and physics. It supports the organisations’ activities and coordinates and promotes research and education in the field of mathematics, astronomy and physics.

Call for Participants – How Free Is Research? A Study on Academic Freedom in STEM

Do evaluation metrics and funding structures influence what scientists dare to research? A study led by an Academic Freedom Fellow at NORRAG (Geneva Graduate Institute) and approved by the ETH Zurich Ethics Commission is examining how STEM researchers in Switzerland, Italy, and the UK experience academic freedom in everyday research practice.

Participation involves a single 60-minute online focus group (via Teams) and is voluntary and fully anonymised. Researchers at all career stages (PhD to full professor) with at least twelve months in their current role are warmly invited to take part.
