The platform MAP incorporates societies and scientifique bodies dedicated to the areas of mathematics, astronomy and physics. It supports the organisations’ activities and coordinates and promotes research and education in the field of mathematics, astronomy and physics.

Math à PartaG - lectures in mathematics for the public

The University of Geneva just launched "Maths à PartaG", a Public Lecture series that aims to bring the research carried out by the Section of Mathematics at the University of Geneva to a wider audience. The first lecture will take place on May 7, 2024.

This annual series of lecture is for people who are interested in mathematics or use it every day in their work.

The first lecture will take place on May 7, 2024, and it will feature Francis Brown (University of Geneva and Oxford University). Entitled “MYSTERIOUS NUMBERS - from mathematics to physics and back again”
