The platform MAP incorporates societies and scientifique bodies dedicated to the areas of mathematics, astronomy and physics. It supports the organisations’ activities and coordinates and promotes research and education in the field of mathematics, astronomy and physics.

Member organisations

The Platform MAP is composed of:

11 specialised societies,
4 commissions,
4 national committees and 7 national contact points of international scientific organisations.

They build together the MAP Plenum. While the specialised societies have the main task of representing their community and developing their field of competence, the commissions are entrusted with specific tasks. The connection to the international specialised organisations is ensured by national committees or national contact points.
